LA Fashion Week

Mother Road Studios partnered with Los Angeles Fashion Week in October 2021 to ensure the event was fully inclusive and models of all abilities were represented on the runway. Because of our consulting and advocacy efforts, it was the first time ever LA Fashion Week included models labeled with developmental disabilities. The energy was electric as the sold-out crowd at the Peterson Automotive Museum, witnessed history in the making when a model with Down syndrome and a model with cerebral palsy, strutted down the catwalk!
